IRC - Channel

 

We're on the following IRC Server:

• irc.de.quakenet.eu.org or you can also use irc.dk.quakenet.eu.org
• Port: 6667
• Channel: #ebr

Don't know how you reach us there? First of all you've to get mIRC. You can get it here.

Install and start it. Now you should see a window with some buttons called "Add" "Edit" "Delete" "Sort" etc. Fill out all fields (Full name and E-Mail don't have to be valid) and then click on "Add" and fill in the following settings:

• Description: Quakenet - EBR (Or what you want)
• IRC Server: irc.de.quakenet.eu.org
• Port(s): 6667
• Group: #ebr (optional)
• Passwort: just leave it blank

If you did this step click on "Add" and then on "Connect to IRC Server". If your client logged in you've to type "/join #ebr" (without " "). Now you should be in our Chat.

If you want to change your nick type: /nick name (Name is for your name, e.g. Newbie)

If you go afk (away from keyboard) mark yourself with it: /nick name|afk (or name_afk etc.)

There are lots of other commands but that's all you have to know for now :).
